We bring both mechanical and process engineering together to take a furnace from design concept to production, installation and then fully operational. We continue to monitor the performance of your furnace to ensure a long service life.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis
Our CFD analysis engineers provide proven modeling on velocity, pressure, turbulence, temperature and buoyancy forces in your furnace.

Energy Audits
Our energy audits can help identify how efficient the energy is flowing throughout your furnace. We make recommendations on how to improve performance to reduce energy consumption.

Contract Manufacturing
We can supplement your internal capabilities (engineering, fabricators, pipe fitters, electricians, insulators, etc.) on aspects of the furnace system that can be completed in-house. FSI would provide the aspects that may not be present in-house (engineering, insulation, refractory, electrical, pipe fitting, etc.) to complete the furnace system. For instance, it is common for customers to complete the piping and electrical (including building the control panel) while FSI would provide the fabrication and insulation as well as all engineering and major components (burners, blowers, etc.). By utilizing your in-house resources, costs can be reduced when rebuilding, retrofitting, or building a new furnace.
